2 missing fishermen in Quezon found alive
LUCENA CITY — The Philippine Coast Guard on Monday, Nov. 27, reported that the two missing fishermen in Quezon province were found safe and been reunited with their families in Atimonan town.
The two fishermen, Reneboy Alva and Jovinal Gamitin, went missing around midnight on Nov. 24 while fishing in the vicinity of the island town of Jomalig off the Pacific Ocean.
The fishers sought shelter in the island town of Alabat due to rough sea conditions.
The PCG said three other fishermen from Oriental Mindoro province have gone missing since No. 18 while out in the open sea. INQ
