Lagusnilad underpass in Manila to reopen on Nov 28

Manila says Lagusnilad Underpass will be partially closed for four months starting May 2, 2023.

MANILA, Philippines — Lagusnilad underpass in Manila will be reopened on Tuesday following a six-month rehabilitation, Manila Public Information Office (MPIO) said on Monday.

The underpass has been closed to traffic since May 2 this year to give way to the repairs of its concrete and pumping system.

“Opening of Lagusnilad underpass 8:30AM, November 28, 2023, Tuesday,” MPIO said in a message sent to reporters.

MPIO initially announced the rehabilitation would be finished by September.
