11 NegOr towns, DSWD ink deal

ELEVEN mayors of Negros Oriental signed an agreement with the Department of Social Welfare and Development in Central Visayas (DSWD-7)  for the implementation of Kalahi-CIDSS project in Dumaguete City.

The mayors of Ayungon, Bindoy, Mabinay, Jimalalud, Manjuyod, Vallehermoso, Basay, Pamplona, Dauin, Sta. Catalina and Zamboanguita received from the DSWD-7 their individual notice to proceed certificates for the implementation of the anti-poverty program.

Kalahi-CIDSS or Kapit Bisig laban sa Kahirapan-Comprehensive and Integrated Delivery of Social Services is designed to empower the local folks from the identified villages.
