Bongbong Marcos swears in Consing as Maharlika Invest Corp Pres, CEO
MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. on Friday swore in Rafael Consing as President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Maharlika Investment Corporation (MIC).
According to a Palace statement, Consing will have three years in this post.
After the ceremony, Marcos and Consing discussed plans for the corporation and the mandate of the MIC head during the first 100 days.
“The topics discussed include the support needed to operationalize the MIC and the priority investment areas such as tourism infrastructure, agri-forestry, energy security, digital infrastructure, and financial services,” said Presidential Communications Office.
The media was informed about the oath-taking after the event.
