MANILA, Philippines – Several local government units declared class suspensions on Thursday due to inclement weather.
The state weather agency said many regions nationwide are expected to experience overcast skies with rain showers throughout Thursday due to a shear line affecting areas in Southern Luzon and Eastern Visayas, and the northeast monsoon (locally termed amihan) affecting parts of Northern and Central Luzon.
Below is the list of areas where classes were suspended for November 16:
Bicol Region
- Camarines Sur – All levels (public and private)
Calabarzon (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Quezoon)
- Calamba City – All levels (public and private)
- Famy – All levels (public and private)
- Lucena City – All levels (public and private)
- Pagbilao – All levels (public and private)
- Patnanungan – All levels (public and private)
Mimaropa (Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, Palawan)
- Oriental Mindoro – All levels (public and private)
