LUCENA CITY – Police anti-narcotics operatives dismantled early Saturday, November 11, an alleged drug den and arrested five suspects in Infanta town in Quezon province.
A report by the Quezon police disclosed that the suspects who were identified by their aliases as “CK”, 42; “Alexis”, 43; “Raymond”, 39; “Ruby”, 25; and “Sheryl-Lyn”, 35, were arrested around 1:15 a.m. during a buy-bust operation in a suspected drug den in Barangay (village) Comon.
The report said “CK,” the alleged den maintainer and tagged as a “high-value” target in the government’s drug war, was found in possession of an undocumented caliber .38 revolver loaded with five bullets.
The four other suspects were caught sniffing shabu (crystal meth) in a pot session during the operation, police said.
The operatives seized shabu worth P224,400 in the street market and various drug paraphernalia from the arrested suspects.
The suspects were detained, and cases of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 are being prepared against them.
“CK” will also be slapped with another case for violation of the gun laws.
