Magnitude 4 earthquake jolts Quezon

MANILA, Philippines — A magnitude 4 earthquake struck Quezon on Friday afternoon, the state seismology bureau said.

According to Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs), the epicenter of the tectonic quake was east of Burdeos, Quezon.

The quake had a depth of focus of two kilometers.

Intensity II was felt in Burdeos, Quezon province.

Phivolcs also recorded intensity II level of ground movement in Polillo, Quezon, and intensity I in Infanta, Quezon.

No damage or aftershocks are expected as a result of the tremor.
