MANILA, Philippines — A total of 2,800 out of 4,119 examinees passed the November 2023 Licensure Examination for Midwives, the Professional Regulatory Commission (PRC) announced on Thursday.
The exams were held from November 5 to 6.
The University of Northern Philippines – Vigan was named the top-performing school with 100 percent passing rate — all of its 40 examinees passed.
This was followed by Bohol Island State University – Calape with a passing rate of 98.25 percent and the Ilocos Sur Polytechnic State University – Candon with a 97.44 percent passing rate.

Janelle Fauni of the Cavite State University (Don Severino Agricultural College) is the batch’s topnotcher, garnering a rating of 91.65 percent, followed by Mary Espiso of the same school with a 91.55 percent rating. Lerah Dalid from the Misamis University – Ozamis city, marked the third spot with a 91.30 percent rating.

The PRC added that the date and venue of the oath-taking ceremony of the successful examinees will be announced at a later date.
