Taguig City starts distribution of school uniforms to students
MANILA, Philippines — The Taguig City government on Monday announced that it has started its distribution of school uniforms in various schools in the city.
According to the city government in a statement, Mayor Lani Cayetano herself led the distribution in Bagumbayan National High School.
“Magmula nung kinder kayo, hanggang sa mag elementarya kayo, nag-K-to-12 na at lahat hanggang sa grumaduate kayo ng senior high school, every step of the way, ramdam ninyo ang pagmamahal ng local government, ramdam ninyo ang TLC (Taguig Learners’ Certificate) ng Taguig,” said Cayetano during the distribution in Bagumbayan National High School.
(From when you were in kindergarten, until you entered elementary school, you went through K-to-12 and all until you graduated from senior high school, every step of the way, you feel the love of the local government, you feel the TLC of Taguig.)
The Taguig government said that the distribution will continue until all 200,000 students in the city receive their uniforms.
Dedicated sizers were arranged in each school who will be tasked to address sizing discrepancies and cater to those who haven’t had their measurements taken.
The city then urged parents and students to share their feedback on the program in this link.
