THE BIG CHILL Superchargers leaned on the tremendous game of Keith Jensen, who had 17 points and 15 rebounds, to score a 72-66 win over the Boracay Rum Waves in the PBA D-League Foundation Cup yesterday at the San Juan gym.
It was the second straight win and fifth overall in seven games for the Super Chargers.
The Super Chargers seized control in the third quarter with Jensen leading the assault. He scored eight of his points in the period, had three assists and three steals as Big Chill outscored Boracay Rum, 21-12, to rip the game apart.
Big Chill also got big contributions from Alex Mallari (17 points), Mac Montilla (11 points) and Raffy Reyes (10 points).
The loss was the fourth in six games for the Waves, who slid into a tie for sixth to eight spots with Jr Powerade and Erase Placenta.
Toto Bandaying was the only player in double digit for the Waves with 14 points. /Correspondent Jonas Panerio
