Barangay, SK polls canvassing all done; no failure of election — Comelec

MANILA, Philippines — Commission on Elections (Comelec) Chairman George Garcia on Wednesday announced that voting and canvassing for the barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan elections nationwide is 100 percent complete.
“No failure of election,” said Garcia in a text message to reporters.

The barangay and SK elections were held last Monday, October 30, after several postponements for various reasons.
Garcia also said that the elections were generally peaceful.
