BAGUIO CITY — Policemen in Abra province were dispatched to Barangay Lapat- Balangay in Tineg town after an unidentified man fired a gun near the polling precinct.
Authorities said the policemen replaced the teachers who were on poll duty.
The police said the teachers, who were serving on the board of electoral inspectors, were frightened by the incident.
Officials from the Commission on Elections, along with the policemen and Army personnel, were assessing the shooting incident. INQ
