MANILA, Philippines — A total of 842 out of 2,524 examinees passed the October 2023 Electronics Engineers Licensure Examination, the Professional Regulatory Commission announced Friday.
The exams were held on October 22 and 23.
The University of the Philippines – Diliman was the batch’s top-performing school with a passing percentage of 96.67 percent.
Angelo Jacobo from the Bulacan State University – Malolos was the topnotcher with a rating of 89.80 percent, followed by June Capin from Mapua University (for M.I.T) – Manila and Joshua Maniti from Tarlac State University (Tarlac College of Tech.) with scores of 87.30 percent and 87.20 percent, respectively.
Meanwhile, the PRC also said in the same announcement that 1,366 out of 1,858 examinees passed the October 2023 Electronics Technicians Licensure Examination, which was held on October 24.
There were four top-performing schools: the FEU Institute of Technology (for FEU E.A.C), with a passing percentage of 94.34 percent; Saint Louis University, 94.12 percent; the University of Santo Tomas, 93.88 percent; and the Mapua University (for M.I.T) – Manila with 90.63 percent.
Jedidiah Kosca from FEU Alabang and Rigil Olegario from Mapua University (for M.I.T) were the topnotchers with the same score of 95.00 percent, followed by John Celeste of the Technological University of the Philippines – Visayas with 94.00 percent, and Joshua Biag from Camarines Sur Polytechnic University – Nabua, with 93.00 percent.

The PRC said that the date and venue of the oath-taking ceremony of the successful examinees will be announced at a later date.
