PRC: 39 of 64 examinees pass metallurgical engineering licensure exam

MANILA, Philippines — Thirty nine out of 64 examinees passed the October 2023 Metallurgical Engineers Licensure Examination, the Professional Regulation Commission announced on Monday.

The University of the Philippines-Diliman achieved a 100-percent passing rate, with all 14 examinees hurdling the tests, followed by Mindanao State University-Iligan Institute of Technology at second, and Mapua University-Manila at third.

Meanwhile, Aaron Tomas was the batch’s topnotcher with a rating of 87.95 percent, followed by Andre Suarez at 86.65 percent and Sarah Evasco at 85.15 at second and third place, respectively. All of them are from the University of the Philippines-Diliman.

The PRC added that the date and venue of the oath-taking ceremony of the passers will be announced at a later date.
