MANILA, Philippines — As more drivers switch to contactless toll payments, the toll collection firm Easytrip Services Corp. gives tips to new subscribers on using radio frequency identification (RFID) stickers to make traveling more convenient for them.

Drivers should download MPT DriveHub — a one-stop-shop app for RFID-related things. Users will only need to sign up and link their RFID, according to Jackson Coson, Easytrip president and general manager.

If they are using a corporate account or have over three Easytrip RFIDs, Coson says they may register online on the firm’s Customer Account Management System.

The app helps drivers regularly check their balance and toll fees and reload their accounts. Easytrip advises motorists to reload at least P100 for the apps using Bayad Online, GCash, and Maya.

Aside from the MPT DriveHub app, Coson said drivers may also register at easytrip.ph for balance inquiry; call MPTC Hotline 1-35000: Press 1 for Easytrip, then select balance inquiry; and get an SMS balance inquiry by sending a text with BAL [space] their 12-digit account number to 0919-160-1553.

Alternative reloading partners include Maya, Bayad Online, GCash, BPI, BDO, and RCBC. Or motorists can do in-person reloading at Easytrip RFID Stations, Easytrip Kiosks, 7-11, Bayad Center, Touchpay, Cebuana Lhuillier, EC Pay, or The SM Store.

Coson urged drivers to get their RFID stickers for swift passage through MPTC expressways — NLEX, SCTEX, CALAX, and CAVITEX C5 Link.

Below is the list of lanes implementing the 100 percent RFID before the upcoming long weekend:
