The event took place to mark the 27th Noncommissioned Officers Week and the 54th founding anniversary of the Office of the AFP Sergeant Major, which is headed by First Chief Master Sergeant Feliciano Lazo.

“As the most senior, most experienced, and most seasoned among our enlisted personnel, you help in implementing plans and strategies on the ground,” Marcos said.

“I am confident that our sergeants major will continue to learn new skills, acquire more knowledge, and enhance their competence to fully realize the Armed Forces’ objectives.”
