Muntinlupa City launches free medicine drive for senior citizens
MANILA, Philippines — The local government of Muntinlupa City has launched a program that will give free medicine to senior citizens with diabetes or high blood pressure ailments on October 12.
According to Muntinlupa City Mayor Rufino Biazon, the program named “Love ko si Lolo, Love ko si Lola, Libreng Gamot para sa Senior Citizens” is part of the 7K program under “Kalusugan,” and funds will be provided so senior citizens can receive medicines regularly.

Senior citizens who have diabetes or high blood pressure ailments can register at the city’s health centers every Wednesday and Friday.
They will also need to bring their Office for Senior Citizens’ Affairs or other valid government identification card with their address and date of birth, as well as a prescription issued in the last three months with a photocopy.
