Cops nab 3 suspects with P517,000 shabu in Cavite bust
LUCENA CITY — Anti-illegal drug operatives arrested on Tuesday three suspected big-time traffickers and seized shabu (crystal meth) worth more than P517,000 in a buy-bust operation in Dasmariñas City, Cavite.
The drug suspects, identified by the aliases “Edzed,” “Rey,” and “Bren” were collared by members of the Cavite police drug enforcement unit around 4 p.m. after they sold P13,000 worth of meth to an undercover police officer acting as a drug user in Barangay Paliparan 1, the Cavite police said in a report released on Wednesday,
Oct. 18.
Authorities found the suspects in possession of four sachets of shabu weighing 75 grams with an estimated Dangerous Drugs Board value of P517,500.
Police tagged the suspects, all local residents, as included on the police drug watch list as high-value individuals in the local drug trade.
The police confiscated a Toyota Vios car believed to have been used by the suspects in their illegal drug trade.

The three suspects were detained and face complaints of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
