MANILA, Philippines — Authorities of the North Luzon Expressway (NLEx) announced that a pavement-raising project will be done on the southbound lane below the Tulaoc overpass.
In its advisory Friday, Nlex said that the middle and rightmost lanes of the southbound direction will be closed from October 13, 12:00 p.m. to October 21, 12:00 p.m., while the other lanes will be passable as usual.
NLEx also advised motorists to take the following alternate routes:
- Manila to Pampanga and vice versa- Macarthur Highway
- Baliuag/Eastern Bulacan to Pampanga and vice versa- San Simon-Baliuag Road
In August, the Tulaoc Bridge was submerged under 65 centimeters of rainwater from Typhoon Egay, causing heavy traffic on the northbound and southbound lanes.
