Bomb threat disrupts classes at San Francisco High School in QC
MANILA, Philippines — Classes at San Francisco High School in Quezon City were disrupted Monday after one of its teachers received a bomb threat message from a social media platform, police said.
Quezon City Police District (QCPD) acting chief Gen. Redrico Maranan said in a report that a teacher got the bomb threat message from an unidentified Facebook account at 6:23 a.m. The teacher confided about it to another person, who reported it to authorities.
The QCPD-Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) immediately responded to the scene and conducted a paneling operation along Misamis Street in Bago Bantay, which yielded negative results for hazardous and explosive materials.
Maranan said the police’s Anti-Cybercrime Group will investigate further to identify the person behind the bomb threat Facebook message.
