LIST: Road closures in Metro Manila from Sept. 29 to Oct. 2
MANILA, Philippines — Some roads in the National Capital Region are closed this weekend, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) said on Friday.
According to MMDA, the Department of Public Works and Highways has been working on reblocking and repairs that started at 11:00 p.m. on Friday, September 29, and will last until 5:00 a.m. on Monday, October 2.
The following roads will be impassable over the weekend:
C-5 Road Northbound (NB) Lane 2
C-5 Road, E. Mejia Street near C-5 Service Road, along C-5 Road near Casa Verde
C-5 to Korean Embassy Southbound (SB) 3rd lane
C-3 Road Eastbound (EB), Between C. Cordero to Rizal Ave. (4th lane from sidewalk)
C-3 Road EB, Between Rizal Ave. to M. H Del Pilar St. (3rd lane from sidewalk)
EDSA NB, Between Don Vicente Ang to Gen. Evangelista (2nd lane from sidewalk)
Rizal Ave. Exit NB, between 11th Ave. and Bustamante St. (2nd lane)
EDSA Taft Ave. NB to MRT Station (2nd lane)
EDSA SB after Malibay Bridge (Outer lane)
Taft Avenue and corner Pedro Gil St. (3rd lanes for NB and SB)
Mindanao Ave. SB, after U-Turn to after Mindanao Ave. Tunnel, (1st and 3rd lane from center and service road, Outer Lane)
A. Bonifacio Ave. NB, corner Sgt. Rivera Street (1st lane from sidewalk)
Commonwealth Ave. NB, B. Soliven Street to Doña Carmen (1st lane from sidewalk)
Commonwealth Ave. NB, Kristong Hari to B. Soliven Street (6th lane from sidewalk)

The MMDA advised motorists to take alternate routes in the meantime and assured travelers that the affected roads would be fully passable by Monday morning.
