2 Singaporeans with P76-M cocaine nabbed

Agents from the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) arrested two Singaporean nationals at Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3 for possessing over P76 million worth of cocaine. The suspects, Siti Aishah Binte and Nur Alaviya Binti Hanaffe, arrived from Doha, Qatar, onboard Qatar Airways Flight QR 92. Antinarcotics agents took from them one green luggage with four cans and two containers of 341 pieces of pellets of suspected cocaine. Also confiscated were two tin cans inside a duffle bag containing 223 pieces of the same pellets. The suspects are now under the custody of the PDEA. —Abby Boiser
