Operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) intercepted a parcel containing P45.9 million worth of illegal drugs at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (Naia) complex in Pasay City.

Based on its initial report, the PDEA said its operatives together with Naia-Inter-Agency Drug Interdiction Task Group seized an abandoned parcel containing 6,750 grams of suspected “shabu” (crystal meth) inside packs of peanuts at Pair-Pags Center inside the airport complex around 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday.

The parcel, with airway bill No. 176-57120103, was declared as “African cultura” and was shipped by a certain Michael Mobida from Johannesburg, South Africa. It was consigned to a certain Wilbert Dee of Quezon City.
