MANILA, Philippines — The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) reported gutter-deep floodwaters in different parts of Edsa caused by heavy rains on Thursday afternoon.
Below is the list of areas with gutter-deep floods according to MMDA’s advisory.
- Edsa Balintawak northbound, passable to all types of vehicles as of 3:25 p.m.
- Edsa Whiteplains northbound, passable to all types of vehicles as of 3:30 p.m.
- Edsa Dario U-turn slot, both northbound and southbound, is passable to all vehicles as of 3:32 p.m.
- Edsa Santolan service road northbound, passable to all types of vehicles as of 3:44 p.m.
Meanwhile, above-gutter floodwaters have been reported in Edsa after Reliance northbound.

It remains passable to all types of vehicles as of 4:46 p.m., said MMDA.

According to the state weather bureau’s afternoon advisory, partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms will prevail over Metro Manila brought by localized thunderstorms.
