  Palace says Ledac has approved 10 more priority bills for 19th Congress

MANILA, Philippines — Malacañang said the Legislative-Executive Development Advisory Council (Ledac) has approved 10 more priority measures that should be passed in Congress.

The Presidential Communications Office (PCO) said in a statement Thursday that the additional proposed laws are:

The PCO said these are “for inclusion in the Common Legislative Agenda for the 19th Congress.”

In the same Palace statement, Senate President Juan Miguel Zubiri said they are committed to supporting the additional bills.

“Mayroon pong additional, dinagdag po ng ating economic team, and we committed to support this as well. Wala po kaming nakikitang controversial,” Zubiri was quoted as saying.

The House of Representatives and the Senate are currently working on bills they are tasked to approve before Congress takes a break in December.

President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. earlier mentioned 20 priority measures, of which the House of Representatives has passed 18 while the Senate has approved 10.
