QCPD nabs 2 most wanted persons during manhunt operations

Two most wanted persons (MWP) were arrested in separate manhunt operations in Quezon City and Manila, the city police said in a statement late Tuesday.

MANILA, Philippines — Two most wanted persons (MWP) were arrested in separate manhunt operations in Quezon City and Manila, police said in a statement late Tuesday.

A joint operation conducted on September 11 by the National Capital Region Police and the Antique Police resulted in the arrest of No. 3 Provincial Level MWP of Police Regional Office 6 identified as Ronald Salvador.

According to the Quezon City Police District (QCPD), Salvador has a pending warrant of arrest for rape from the Regional Trial Court of Bugasong, Antique. He was arrested in his residence in Barangay Batasan Hills, Quezon City.

In another operation, La Loma Police Station 1 arrested Pastor Negado, at 11/88 Shopping Mall located along Felipe St., Binondo, Manila, still on September 11.

QCPD reported that Negado has a pending warrant of arrest for theft issued by the Metropolitan Trial Court (MeTC) in Quezon City.

The police district said that 23 more wanted persons were also arrested by different stations and units on the same day.

“The respective courts of origin of the warrants will be notified regarding the arrest of the wanted persons,” it added.
