Fire guts Navotas residential block

MANILA, Philippines— A three-alarm fire gutted a residential area in Navotas Thursday afternoon but no one was reported injured, a city fire official said.

Senior Fire Officer 2 Jose Zaldy Fajado said the blaze that hit Estrella Street started at 3:45 p.m., and raged through until 4:05 p.m.

Fajado said the origin of fire and the estimated damage to property have yet to be determined.
