LUCENA CITY — Authorities arrested a female “high-value” drug suspect during a buy-bust operation early Wednesday, Sept. 6, and seized more than P207,000 worth of shabu (crystal meth) from her in Antipolo City.

Members of the Antipolo police drug enforcement unit busted Mylene Abellar Dapua around 12:32 a.m. after she sold P1,000 worth of meth to an undercover cop posing as a drug user in a transaction in a subdivision in Barangay Mayamot, the Region 4A police, reported.

Dapua yielded seven plastic sachets of shabu weighing 30.5 grams and worth about P207,400 as per the Dangerous Drugs Board valuation.

Authorities are investigating the source of the illegal substance.

Police tagged Dapua as a high-value individual on the police drug watch list in the illegal drug trade in the city.

The suspect is under police custody and is facing charges of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
