Lawmakers seek probe into the road rage of a dismissed cop
MANILA, Philippines — Two lawmakers have filed a resolution asking House of Representatives to investigate the gun-toting of a dismissed policeman along Mabuhay Rotonda in Quezon City.
Discharged cop Wilfredo Gonzales has just been fired by the office of Supreme Court Justice Ricardo Rosario for the same reason.
The incident happened on August 8.
Gonzales had threatened the life of a biker and this was caught on video that became viral.
In a statement on Wednesday, 1-Rider party-list Representatives Bonifacio Bosita and Ramon Rodrigo Gutierrez said they filed House Resolution Number 1231 condemning the actions of Gonzales.

“This is not an isolated incident,” Gutierrez said.
“Malakas ang loob nilang manindak kasi kumpiyansa sila na madali lang makalusot. Kung gano’n, may mali na talaga sa sistema,” he added.
(They have the guts to threaten people because they are confident that they can get away with it. If this is the case, there is already something wrong with the system.)
