MANILA, Philippines — The Land Transportation Office (LTO) told its regional directors and other officials to work with offices of local government units (LGUs) and the Department of Education to ensure road safety for everyone during the opening of the academic year 2023-2024 on August 29.

“All concerned LTO officials are tasked to guarantee that all our roads will be safe for our teachers, students, and parents amid the resumption of classes. Vigor Mendoza II said in a Facebook post of the LTO.
