NCRPO’s 5th most wanted nabbed in Taguig

MANILA, Philippines — The fifth most wanted person in Metro Manila has been arrested by police officers in Taguig, reports from the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) showed.

NCRPO in a statement on Friday said that Erwin Parcon, 28 years old, who has outstanding charges for rape, was arrested by officers from the 6th Mobile Force Company – Regional Mobile Force Battalion (MFC-RMFB) and the Warrant and Subpoena Unit of Taguig City Police Station.

Operatives served the arrest order against Parcon on Friday around 10:00 a.m. at Barangay New Lower Bicutan in Taguig City.

NCRPO said Parcon is facing charges for three counts of Qualified Statutory Rape and Attempted Qualified Statutory Rape, heard before Branch 163 of the Regional Trial Court in Taguig.

Brig. Gen. Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr., regional director of the NCRPO, said that the latest arrest shows the police’s dedication to an intensified campaign against at-large individuals.

“I commend our operatives for doing their job well. The continuous arrest of persons sought by the law manifests our intensified campaign in arresting and putting these lawless elements behind bars for them to face the consequences of their despicable acts,” Nartatez said.
