Marikina’s most wanted person nabbed in Albay — NCRPO
MANILA, Philippines — Marikina’s most wanted personality who is facing rape complaints was arrested in Pio Duran town in Albay, the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) said on Monday.
According to the NCRPO, the operation to serve the arrest order against suspect Juan Paolo Isagani de Leon, 33, was conducted by the Marikina City Police Station and Pio Duran’s local police after receiving reports from the Detective and Intelligence Unit that the said individual was staying in the area.
Responding police officers then arrested De Leon in Pio Duran’s Barangay Caratagan on Friday evening.
NCRPO said that De Leon had outstanding arrest orders for four counts of rape, issued by Branch 168 of the Marikina City Regional Trial Court way back on January 26, 2016. No bail was recommended.
The suspect is currently detained at the Marikina City Police Station while awaiting proper documentation and disposition.

“Although the NCR is still under strict implementation of community restrictions, our operatives do not cease to arrest those law breakers particularly those with standing warrants of arrest who are still roaming in and out of the region,” Danao said.
“And on this venture, we seek the help and cooperation of the public so that these law offenders could be caught and pay for their wrongdoings,” he added.
