DepEd records 18.8 million students enrolled for 2023-24

MANILA, Philippines — A total of 18,833,944 students so far have enrolled in schools nationwide, the Department of Education (DepEd) said in a Facebook post on Wednesday.

Following are the top three regions with the most enrollees:

  • Calabarzon: 3,114,341
  • Metro Manila: 2,354,285
  • Central Luzon: 2,062,981.

Enrollment will run until Aug. 26, the DepEd said.

In addition to this, our Alternative Learning System learners may also enlist through their nearest barangays, community learning centers, or nearby public schools,” DepEd said.
