Pagasa: Southern Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao to get monsoon rains on Tuesday
MANILA, Philippines — Parts of the Philippines in the south will have rainy weather, the state weather bureau said.
In its weather report on Tuesday, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said that the southwest monsoon or habagat will bring cloudy up to rainy skies in southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.
“Patuloy pa ring umiiral ang southwest monsoon o habagat dito sa bahagi ng southern Luzon, Visayas, at Mindanao, kung saan ngayong araw, makakaranas pa rin ng maulap na kalangitan at mga kalat-kalat na pag-ulan ang kanlurang bahagi ng southern Luzon, Visayas at Mindanao,” said Pagasa weather specialist Grace Castañeda.
(The southwest monsoon or habagat still affects southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, where today, a cloudy weather, up to isolated rains can be experienced, especially in the western part of southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao)
Metro Manila and other parts of Luzon will experience a moderate cloudy weather due to the weakened effects of the southwest monsoon, with temperate heat in the noon, and chances of isolated thunderstorms from afternoon to nightfall.
Pagasa has not foreseen any weather disturbances inside and outside the Philippine area of responsibility.
