Cops nab drug gang member for possession of P14.3-M worth of shabu in Bacolod
BACOLOD CITY — The police here seized P14.3-million worth of shabu, or crystal meth, and arrested an alleged member of the Caunda Drug Group on Thursday, August 10.
Suspect Michael Sarabia Frias, 45, and a resident of Barangay Vista Alegre, Bacolod City, did not resist arrest.
He was apprehended by the Bacolod City Drug Enforcement Unit with two kilos and 115 grams of shabu with an estimated value of P14,382,000.
Tactical interrogation is still ongoing to locate the source of illegal drugs, links and accomplices, the police said.
On October 3, the Bacolod police also seized P8.8 million in shabu from three suspected Caunda Drug Group members.
