MANILA, Philippines — Local airlines have canceled some international flights as Typhoon Khanun ravages South Korea, said the Manila International Airport Authority (Miaa).
According to the Korean Meteorological Administration, Khanun has been pummelling South Korea with heavy rains and strong winds.
In an advisory, the Miaa listed the following canceled flights:
Cebu Pacific (5J)
5J 186/185 Manila-Incheon-Manila
5J 188/189 Manila-Incheon-Manila
AirAsia PH (Z2)
Z2 884/885 Manila-Incheon-Manila
Philippine Airlines (PR)
PR 468/469 Manila-Incheon-Manila
Locally known as Typhoon Falcon, Khanun left the Philippine area of responsibility on August 1 after enhancing the effects of the southwest monsoon in the country.
