MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has appointed Marius Corpus as the chair of the Governance Commission for Government-Owned or-Controlled Corporations (GCG), said the Presidential Communications Office (PCO) on Friday.
Corpus replaced former Sandiganbayan Justice Alex Quiroz as chair.
The GCG oversees government-owned agencies such as the Sugar Regulatory Administration and the Philippine Coconut Authority.
In a Facebook post, Brian Keith Hosaka was also announced as a member. Hosaka was a Supreme Court Assistant Court Administrator and the Court’s Public Information Office Chief.
Hosaka replaces Gideon de Villa Mortel as a member of the GCG.
