Motorists using the elevated road connecting the North Luzon and South Luzon Expressways will have to pay toll starting Aug. 8, according to the Toll Regulatory Board. The fees will be P86 for cars and SUVs, P215 for minivans and buses, and P302 for large trucks and trailers. Ever since it was launched in March, around 14,000 motorists used the toll road for free every day. The P23-billion connector road was built and will be operated by NLEX Corp. The company said it plans to complete another section from España Boulevard to Sta. Mesa by the fourth quarter of this year. —ABBY BOISER
