WATCH: UP’s ’student emeritus’ finally graduates after 18-year delay | INQStories

After an 18-year delay, Helweena Sadorra was finally able to finish her degree at the University of the Philippines.

Now 40 years old, Helweena was among the students that marched in the university’s graduation on July 30, 2023.

“Ang haba-haba ng hinintay ko para lang masuot ko yung sablay. So very emotional ako noong masuot ko siya for the very first time,” she said.
