WATCH: Children of janitors graduate cum laude from Ateneo | INQStories

The children of a couple working as janitors at Ateneo de Manila University both graduated with honors from the university.

During an interview with INQStories, siblings Riel and Rica Gutierrez attributed their success to their parents.

“Ito ay tagumpay– higit na tagumpay ng magulang namin kaysa sa tagumpay namin lang [mga] anak nila,” Riel said.

(This success– is more of the success of our parents than just our own as their children.)
