3 drug suspects yield P512,000 shabu in Lucena City
LUCENA CITY — Three alleged drug traffickers yielded more than P512,000 worth of shabu (crystal meth) when they were arrested in separate buy-bust operations on Tuesday, Aug. 1, in this city.
Local drug enforcers arrested at 10:59 p.m. Ramil Dueñas, 26, and his associate, Lemuel Reynoso, 22, after they sold P2,000 worth of meth to an undercover cop in Barangay Cotta, said Lieutenant Colonel Ruben Ballera Jr., Lucena police chief, in a report on Wednesday.
The duo yielded nine sachets of meth weighing 22.73 grams. The confiscated illegal substance is worth P463,692 in the street market, the report said.
Dueñas is on the drug watch list as a drug pusher in the city, the police said.
The police also seized a mobile phone from the suspects, which will be subjected to digital forensic examination if they have records of drug transactions.

All suspects were detained at the local police jail and are facing charges of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
