TUGUEGARAO CITY-A search-and-rescue team from the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG)-Northeast Luzon continued to scour the waters of Abulug, Cagayan province on Friday in search of its four rescuers who went missing when Typhoon “Egay” (international name: Doksuri) pummeled the province two days ago.

But despite the massive search, there were still no reported sightings of the rescuers, the PCG said.

The missing PCG personnel were supposed to rescue the crew of M/Tug (tugboat) Iroquois about 21 nautical miles away from Aparri.
