Bongbong Marcos arrives at Batasang Pambansa for 2nd Sona
MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. touched down at the Batasang Pambansa Complex in Quezon City Monday afternoon to deliver his second State of the Nation Address (Sona).
Arriving by presidential helicopter, Marcos is scheduled to address the nation at 4 p.m.
The President said he views the Sona as a straightforward progress report to update the public on his administration’s accomplishments and areas for improvement.
“It’s really very simple. It’s just a performance report for Filipinos to see that of all the pronouncements, of all the words, if this really has meaning or if it is just words,” Marcos said in a previous interview.
During his first Sona, Marcos made commitments on crucial issues such as the economy, agriculture, education and health.
