Government postman nabbed for alleged shabu peddling in Quezon

LUCENA CITY – Police arrested a local government postman in a drug buy-bust operation in Real town in Quezon province on Saturday night, July 22.

Brian Prohibido, 42, was collared by local police anti-illegal drugs operatives around 11:02 p.m. after he allegedly sold P500 worth of shabu (crystal meth) to an undercover cop acting as a drug user in Barangay (village) Cawayan, the Quezon police said in a report Sunday, July 23.

The suspect yielded two sachets of meth with a street value of P36,720.

The police also confiscated a motorcycle believed to have been used by the suspect in his illegal drug trade.

The suspect was detained at the local police jail and is facing charges of violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
