Cops nab teen in Lipa City drug bust

LUCENA CITY – A 17-year-old male drug suspect was arrested on Tuesday night in a buy-bust operation in Lipa City in Batangas province.
Batangas police said in a report on Wednesday, May 18, anti-narcotics agents collared around 10:45 p.m. “Bunso” after he sold shabu (crystal meth) to an undercover cop acting as a drug user in Barangay Antipolo del Norte.
Bunso, a resident of the locality, yielded two sachets of shabu and a mobile phone containing a list of his supposed drug transactions.
The volume and street value of the confiscated illegal drugs were not specified in the report.
The suspect was placed under police custody and will face a complaint of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
