/ 10:27 PM April 21, 2012

A security guard who was on his way home from a wake was stabbed dead early Saturday morning in Quezon City by the man whom he earlier accused of having an affair with his wife.

Authorities caught the suspect, Romie Sorassa, 47, as he was fleeing after he allegedly attacked Gilberto Leosala, 35. Sorassa was still carrying a foot-long kitchen knife when arrested, they said.

The victim, a resident of Antipolo City, died on the spot at around 6:30 a.m. along Interior Kabalitang Street in Barangay Krus na Ligas.
