LUCENA CITY — A 41-year-old woman died on Sunday after a concrete wall collapsed due to heavy rains and buried her inside a shanty in Antipolo City.

In a report, the Police Region 4A said Dina Saban was alone inside their shack when a concrete wall on its side collapsed due to strong rains.

The dislodged soil and the concrete wall buried her inside her house in Antipolo city.

The police said the accident happened around 8 p.m. in Barangay Sta Cruz.

Rescuers from the city disaster risk reduction and management office and nearby villages rushed to the site and recovered her body under the mountain of soil and rubble.
