Tattoo artist tagged in Cebu City gang rape
A tattoo artist was arrested by police as a suspect in the gang rape of a woman in barangay Sambag Dos, Cebu City.
Glenn Narvasa denied any wrongdoing.
Narvasa was a tenant of a rented apartment in Tormis Extension where the woman was allegedly raped.
Police said the apartment owner identified Narvasa as one of four men who brought the woman to the apartment.
The victim told police that four men forced her at knife point to board a car in Carbon market past 5 p.m. last Monday.
The woman said the men forced her to drink something before she lost consciousness.
When she woke up about noon yesterday, she found herself alone in the room.
She called a female friend for help who in turn reported to the police.
Several policemen went to the apartment and brought the young woman to a Cebu City hospital.
The suspect was later arrested in the apartment, said SPO2 Vincent Taladua.
Police said serious illegal detention and rape charges will be filed against Narvasa and the three unidentified men. /CORRESPONDENT CHITO O. ARAGON
