MANILA, Philippines—Authorities seized an estimated 10 grams of shabu worth around P68,000 from an employee of the city government of Gingoog in Misamis Oriental on Friday afternoon, according to the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA).

The suspect, Medel Asetre Arao III, was apprehended during a buy-bust operation in Purok 5, Barangay 17, conducted by the PDEA Regional Office 10 and the Philippine National Police 10 Regional Intelligence Unit.

Arao will be charged with violations of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
