Motel guest refuses to check out, nabbed

A male  motel guest was arrested for  rowdy behavior and  not checking out  on time.

Police  found suspected drugs and shabu paraphernalia in the room but    are still  confirming the identity of the man who   checked into the  Queensland motel in Cebu City  on Friday dawn with a woman.

The man showed an identification card with the  name Avelino Rosal III but his features don’t match the photo ID.

When a room boy went to the room after the 7-hour checkout time, the woman left.

However,  the man insisted on staying behind.

He threw a thermos at a security guard who came over.

Responding police had to force open the locked door.

They found the guest inside  naked with plastic sachets of white powder, tinfoil and a lighter, said SPO2 Rene Sultan of the Cebu City police.

Motel management said  some room items were  damaged.
